The Nitto SN3 is a winter tire designed to add winter performance to passenger cars, sport coupes, SUVs, CUVs and some sport trucks. The Nitto SN3 incorporates an advanced tread design with studless technology for better handling and driving security in severe winter conditions.
- Deep, alternating inner blocks add stability while allowing the tire to dig into deep snow or slush
- Large outer blocks increase performance while turning or accelerating while jagged edges around the block help add grip while cornering
- The wide center rib adds stability during highway speeds, while the jagged edges and a zigzag groove increase traction on ice or compacted snow
- Tapered lateral grooves evacuate water or slush from the center of the tire allowing the tire to better contact the road surface, increasing grip
- Four large channels circling the tire ensure deep penetration in the snow or slush for added grip and also remove moisture from under the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning
- Advanced, sturdy construction to defend against road hazards while maintaining handling ability during cold temperatures
