Many customers ask, "What exactly is your fitment guarantee?" This page is our answer. It sets out what we take responsibility for and what we need from you, so you can buy wheels and tires from us with complete confidence. With a rigorous fitment verification process and over 40 years of combined experience in the wheel and tire industry, this is what we do best. How it works

Three steps, and the promise at the end of them.

You tell us exactly what you drive

Year, make, model, sub-model, drive type, body style, original wheel size — and any modifications. Accurate information is the foundation of the guarantee.

We verify your order twice

A wheel and tire specialist cross-references every order against our fitment database, then confirms it with the manufacturer's own fitment data as a failsafe.

If we got it wrong, it's on us

If a specification we verified causes a fitment issue, we take the order back and cover all shipping costs. No arguments.

Who covers what

The guarantee is a two-way commitment. Here's the split.

We're responsible for

Verifying every wheel and tire specification listed on this page against our database and the manufacturer's data.
Confirming that a staggered set will fit your vehicle correctly.
Contacting you before your order ships if we spot a concern.
Taking the order back and covering all shipping costs if a specification we verified is wrong — including the rare case where both our data and the manufacturer's data are incorrect.

You're responsible for

Providing the correct year, make, model, sub-model, drive type (FWD/RWD/AWD/4WD), body style and original wheel size.
Knowing which diameter you're shopping for. If your car came with 20" wheels, it's up to you to know whether you want 20", an upsize (21") or a downsize (19"). Unsure? Ask us first.
Knowing whether you're shopping for a staggered or a square setup.
Declaring any suspension, brake or hub modifications (see Modifications).
Test-fitting wheels before any tires are mounted (see Test fitting).

If the vehicle information was incorrect, or the wrong size was ordered Shipping fees and a 25% restocking fee are deducted from your refund. The restocking fee is waived if you place a replacement order, but shipping fees still apply.

If we flag a concern and you proceed anyway If we contact you about a fitment issue we've identified and you choose to go ahead against our recommendation, the order becomes a final sale and is non-returnable. This applies to wheels, tires and mounted packages alike.

Our wheel and tire database

We use one of the world's most sophisticated wheel and tire fitment databases. It powers the results you see on our site and sets the minimum and maximum parameters we'll show you.

Conservative by design

Our data leans slightly conservative. Some larger or wider wheels and tires might fit in "real-world" use, but we won't suggest them. That keeps what you buy from us within your vehicle's body — for fitment and for legal reasons.

Verified twice, every time

Every order is cross-referenced with our database, then checked again with the wheel and tire manufacturers as a failsafe. That's how we keep fitment errors and human mistakes extremely rare.

Known limitations

Older vehicles (1980s or earlier) and vehicles never sold in North America may not be in the database. In those cases we research the fitment ourselves — and we're very good at it.

Our promise In the extremely unlikely event that both our data and the manufacturer's data prove to be incorrect, we take full responsibility for any fitment issue that results.

Fitment guarantee on wheels

When you buy alloy or steel wheels from us, a specialist reviews the order against our database and the manufacturer's fitment data to verify and confirm these ten specifications:

If any of these specifications causes a fitment issue, we take the order back and cover all shipping costs.

Wheels must be test-fitted without tires Wheels that have had tires mounted are considered final sale. See Test fitting for how to do it in a few minutes.

We'll confirm that staggered wheels fit your vehicle correctly, but you're responsible for knowing whether you're shopping for a staggered or square setup. Incorrect vehicle information or the wrong size ordered is handled as described in Who covers what.

You're responsible for the correct year, make, model, sub-model and original wheel size, and for knowing which tire diameter you're shopping for (20", an upsize to 21", or a downsize to 19"). Incorrect information or the wrong size ordered is handled as described in Who covers what.

Mounted packages

We guarantee fitment on every mounted package. Everything in the wheel guarantee and the tire guarantee applies.

When a return is accepted

Mounted packages are final sale unless there's a fitment issue or you received incorrect items. In those cases we make an exception and accept the return. We'll ask for pictures showing the issue and your vehicle's VIN. If the error is ours, we take the order back in full and cover all shipping.

When it isn't

If the error comes from incorrect vehicle information, the order is final sale. Returns for purely aesthetic reasons aren't accepted. Packages that have been driven on aren't eligible for a fitment return.

Keep the protective packaging Hold on to all protective packaging until you've confirmed fitment, in case a return is needed.

Aggressive fitment

Our "aggressive fitment" filter opens up the diameter, width and offset parameters for wheels, and the width and aspect ratio parameters for tires, so you can shop for setups our data considers too big or wide for your vehicle.

Aggressive fitment is always final sale — and it overrides everything else on this page We're not responsible for fender clearance or rubbing issues caused by aggressive-fitment wheels or tires. Returns or exchanges for fitment issues aren't accepted. This policy supersedes the standard wheel guarantee, tire guarantee and mounted package guarantee.

Test fitting policy

If you're buying wheels only, test fitting is mandatory: try the bare wheels on your vehicle before any tires are mounted. It takes a few minutes and protects both of us.

Rest the wheel on the hub

Loosely install one lug nut or bolt so the wheel stays in place during the test.

Do it front and rear

Brake and suspension clearances differ between axles, so test at least one position on each.

Check the three clearances

Look for the minimum gaps below. If anything is tight, stop and contact us before mounting tires.

"Why test fit if there's a guarantee?"

Because the guarantee covers our data — and a test fit catches the rare things data can't:

Warehouse picking errors
Mis-boxed or mislabeled wheels
Incorrect data in our system
Incorrect vehicle information provided to us
Clerical errors

All five are very rare, but mistakes can happen. Wheels that have had tires mounted are considered used and non-returnable.

Installation kits

Our installation kits are guaranteed too. We guarantee that:

Lug nuts / bolts

The correct quantity, and a length, thread pitch, seat type and hex size compatible with both your new wheels and your vehicle.

Hub centering rings

The correct quantity, with an inner diameter matching your vehicle's hub and an outer diameter matching the wheels' center bore.

Socket adapter

Compatible with your vehicle's original tire lug wrench.

Unspecified modifications or alterations

It's essential to declare any modification that can affect wheel and tire fitment. We're not responsible for fitment issues caused by undeclared modifications.

Suspension

Lift kits, leveling kits, lowering springs, coilovers, air suspension, etc.

Brakes

Larger calipers from a higher trim, big brake kits, etc.

Hubs

Axle swaps, hub conversions, wheel adapters or spacers, etc.

If your modification isn't listed in our fitment guide, enter it under "vehicle modifications" at checkout or contact us before ordering.

Replacement wheels

Guaranteed to fit your vehicle — but not necessarily to match your existing wheels We can't guarantee a replacement wheel will match the diameter, width, offset, finish and center bore of the wheels you already have, unless you give us a specific part number or the original wheels were purchased from us. Replacement wheels are final sale.
