Wheelwiz recommends purchasing an installation with your new set of wheels since the lug nuts/bolts that come with your vehicle out of the factory may not be compatible with aftermarket wheels. Additionally, you may require hub rings/centering rings to center the wheels properly.
Here are a few things you should know about our installation kit:
- We have one generic listing for our installation kit. We will select the correct specifications (thread pitch, seat type, hub ring inner and outer diameter, etc.) based on the wheels you order and the vehicle information that is provided to us. If you are purchasing an installation kit without wheels, please specify the part number or description of your wheels during checkout.
- Only one installation kit is needed per order. One kit will cover all wheels. If you are ordering a fifth wheel as a spare, we will be sure to include enough hardware for all five wheels.
- You will be sent the correct amount of lug nuts/bolts based on the bolt pattern of the wheels that you order, i.e., if you order 4 bolt wheels you will be sent 16 lug nuts/bolts, or if you order 8 bolt wheels you will be sent 32 lug nuts, etc.
- If you order wheels that come with a center cap that covers your bolt pattern you will be sent open-ended lug nuts to leave enough room for the cap to be installed. Open-ended lug nuts come in a chrome finish by default, however, they will not be visible once installed.
- Our installation kit does NOT include locking nuts or TPMS. To shop for these products please visit the accessories section.
- Hub rings/centering rings are only sent if required. If your wheels are hubcentric or you have 8 bolt wheels, you will not be sent hub rings.
- We suggest using a torque wrench to install your lug nuts/bolts. For optimal torque specs please consult your vehicle owner's manual.
- Also available in chrome. Not sure which colour will look best? We recommend matching darker wheels with black nuts/bolts and lighter wheels with chrome lug nuts/bolts.
- We are happy to offer a 1-year guarantee on all accessories. If your lug nuts start looking dull in less than a year, send us a picture and we will throw in a replacement set completely free of charge with your next purchase.
